Payroll Specialist - multi-state payroll (remote)

Westbrook Nest Staffing Group connects candidates and employers across the Charleston region. We are hiring a Payroll Specialist to take on multi-state payroll. You would join a small organisation of about 143 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Prepare quarterly filings and year-end forms. • Process weekly and bi-weekly payroll for hourly and salaried staff. • Answer employee pay questions promptly and clearly. • Handle garnishments, benefit deductions and new-hire setup. • Audit timecards and resolve discrepancies with supervisors. What we are looking for • Strong accuracy, especially under a deadline. • Two or more years of payroll experience. • Knowledge of wage-and-hour rules and multi-state basics. Nice to have • Payroll certification. • Experience with ADP, Paycom or a similar system. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Charleston. • We reply to every applicant.
