Payroll Specialist - multi-state payroll (remote)

We are growing our team at Nova Glen Banking Services Partners and adding a Payroll Specialist whose main responsibility will be multi-state payroll. We keep decisions close to customers and expect people to explain things plainly. What you will do • Answer employee pay questions promptly and clearly. • Prepare quarterly filings and year-end forms. • Handle garnishments, benefit deductions and new-hire setup. • Audit timecards and resolve discrepancies with supervisors. • Process weekly and bi-weekly payroll for hourly and salaried staff. What we are looking for • Two or more years of payroll experience. • Strong accuracy, especially under a deadline. • Knowledge of wage-and-hour rules and multi-state basics. Nice to have • Payroll certification. • Experience with ADP, Paycom or a similar system. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, mornings. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Birmingham. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
