Payroll Specialist - multi-state payroll (remote)

Summit Junction Staffing places workers with employers around Toledo. We are hiring a Payroll Specialist to take on multi-state payroll. You would join a large organisation of about 304 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Prepare quarterly filings and year-end forms. • Audit timecards and resolve discrepancies with supervisors. • Handle garnishments, benefit deductions and new-hire setup. • Answer employee pay questions promptly and clearly. • Process weekly and bi-weekly payroll for hourly and salaried staff. What we are looking for • Strong accuracy, especially under a deadline. • Knowledge of wage-and-hour rules and multi-state basics. • Two or more years of payroll experience. Nice to have • Experience with ADP, Paycom or a similar system. • Payroll certification. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Toledo. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
