Payroll Specialist - multi-state payroll (remote)

We are growing our team at Westbrook Meadow Construction and adding a Payroll Specialist whose main responsibility will be multi-state payroll. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Handle garnishments, benefit deductions and new-hire setup. • Process weekly and bi-weekly payroll for hourly and salaried staff. • Audit timecards and resolve discrepancies with supervisors. • Prepare quarterly filings and year-end forms. • Answer employee pay questions promptly and clearly. What we are looking for • Two or more years of payroll experience. • Strong accuracy, especially under a deadline. • Knowledge of wage-and-hour rules and multi-state basics. Nice to have • Payroll certification. • Experience with ADP, Paycom or a similar system. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, spread across three days. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Sacramento. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
