Payroll Specialist - multi-state payroll (remote)

We are growing our team at Rivermark Pike Construction Partners and adding a Payroll Specialist whose main responsibility will be multi-state payroll. You would join a small organisation of about 12 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Handle garnishments, benefit deductions and new-hire setup. • Prepare quarterly filings and year-end forms. • Answer employee pay questions promptly and clearly. • Audit timecards and resolve discrepancies with supervisors. • Process weekly and bi-weekly payroll for hourly and salaried staff. What we are looking for • Strong accuracy, especially under a deadline. • Knowledge of wage-and-hour rules and multi-state basics. • Two or more years of payroll experience. Nice to have • Payroll certification. • Experience with ADP, Paycom or a similar system. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Madison. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
