Payroll Specialist - multi-state payroll (remote)

Westbrook Lakeside Banking Services is a regional lender in Miami with branches and a growing mobile service. We are hiring a Payroll Specialist to take on multi-state payroll. Most people here started in a branch and stayed. What you will do • Answer employee pay questions promptly and clearly. • Prepare quarterly filings and year-end forms. • Handle garnishments, benefit deductions and new-hire setup. • Process weekly and bi-weekly payroll for hourly and salaried staff. • Audit timecards and resolve discrepancies with supervisors. What we are looking for • Two or more years of payroll experience. • Strong accuracy, especially under a deadline. • Knowledge of wage-and-hour rules and multi-state basics. Nice to have • Experience with ADP, Paycom or a similar system. • Payroll certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, mornings. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Miami. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
