Payroll Specialist - multi-state payroll (Pittsburgh, PA)

Bright Ridge Staffing connects candidates and employers across the Pittsburgh region, and we need a Payroll Specialist to lead our multi-state payroll. You would join a large organisation of about 523 people based in Pittsburgh. What you will do • Prepare quarterly filings and year-end forms. • Audit timecards and resolve discrepancies with supervisors. • Process weekly and bi-weekly payroll for hourly and salaried staff. • Handle garnishments, benefit deductions and new-hire setup. • Answer employee pay questions promptly and clearly. What we are looking for • Two or more years of payroll experience. • Knowledge of wage-and-hour rules and multi-state basics. • Strong accuracy, especially under a deadline. Nice to have • Payroll certification. • Experience with ADP, Paycom or a similar system. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Pittsburgh. • We reply to every applicant.
