Payroll Specialist - multi-state payroll (Pittsburgh, PA)

We are growing our team at Redstone Field Staffing and adding a Payroll Specialist whose main responsibility will be multi-state payroll. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Pittsburgh. What you will do • Process weekly and bi-weekly payroll for hourly and salaried staff. • Answer employee pay questions promptly and clearly. • Prepare quarterly filings and year-end forms. • Audit timecards and resolve discrepancies with supervisors. • Handle garnishments, benefit deductions and new-hire setup. What we are looking for • Strong accuracy, especially under a deadline. • Knowledge of wage-and-hour rules and multi-state basics. • Two or more years of payroll experience. Nice to have • Experience with ADP, Paycom or a similar system. • Payroll certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Pittsburgh. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
