Payroll Specialist - multi-state payroll (Omaha, NE)

Clearpath Granite Financial is looking for a Payroll Specialist. The job centres on multi-state payroll for loan applications, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Prepare quarterly filings and year-end forms. • Process weekly and bi-weekly payroll for hourly and salaried staff. • Handle garnishments, benefit deductions and new-hire setup. • Answer employee pay questions promptly and clearly. • Audit timecards and resolve discrepancies with supervisors. What we are looking for • Two or more years of payroll experience. • Knowledge of wage-and-hour rules and multi-state basics. • Strong accuracy, especially under a deadline. Nice to have • Experience with ADP, Paycom or a similar system. • Payroll certification. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Omaha, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
