Payroll Specialist - multi-state payroll (New Orleans, LA)

Highbridge Nest Financial serves customers across New Orleans with accounts, loans and payments. We are hiring a Payroll Specialist to take on multi-state payroll. You would join a small organisation of about 11 people based in New Orleans. What you will do • Process weekly and bi-weekly payroll for hourly and salaried staff. • Prepare quarterly filings and year-end forms. • Answer employee pay questions promptly and clearly. • Handle garnishments, benefit deductions and new-hire setup. • Audit timecards and resolve discrepancies with supervisors. What we are looking for • Knowledge of wage-and-hour rules and multi-state basics. • Two or more years of payroll experience. • Strong accuracy, especially under a deadline. Nice to have • Experience with ADP, Paycom or a similar system. • Payroll certification. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in New Orleans. • We reply to every applicant.
