Payroll Specialist - multi-state payroll (Minneapolis, MN)

Bluepeak River Staffing places workers with employers around Minneapolis. We are hiring a Payroll Specialist to take on multi-state payroll. We are in the people business and act like it. What you will do • Process weekly and bi-weekly payroll for hourly and salaried staff. • Answer employee pay questions promptly and clearly. • Audit timecards and resolve discrepancies with supervisors. • Prepare quarterly filings and year-end forms. • Handle garnishments, benefit deductions and new-hire setup. What we are looking for • Two or more years of payroll experience. • Strong accuracy, especially under a deadline. • Knowledge of wage-and-hour rules and multi-state basics. Nice to have • Experience with ADP, Paycom or a similar system. • Payroll certification. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Minneapolis, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
