Payroll Specialist - multi-state payroll (Little Rock, AR)

We are growing our team at Northwind Linden Banking Services and adding a Payroll Specialist whose main responsibility will be multi-state payroll. Most people here started in a branch and stayed. What you will do • Answer employee pay questions promptly and clearly. • Prepare quarterly filings and year-end forms. • Audit timecards and resolve discrepancies with supervisors. • Process weekly and bi-weekly payroll for hourly and salaried staff. • Handle garnishments, benefit deductions and new-hire setup. What we are looking for • Knowledge of wage-and-hour rules and multi-state basics. • Strong accuracy, especially under a deadline. • Two or more years of payroll experience. Nice to have • Experience with ADP, Paycom or a similar system. • Payroll certification. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Little Rock, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
