Payroll Specialist - multi-state payroll (Knoxville, TN)

Bluepeak North Staffing places workers with employers around Knoxville, and we need a Payroll Specialist to lead our multi-state payroll. We are in the people business and act like it. What you will do • Prepare quarterly filings and year-end forms. • Process weekly and bi-weekly payroll for hourly and salaried staff. • Audit timecards and resolve discrepancies with supervisors. • Answer employee pay questions promptly and clearly. • Handle garnishments, benefit deductions and new-hire setup. What we are looking for • Knowledge of wage-and-hour rules and multi-state basics. • Strong accuracy, especially under a deadline. • Two or more years of payroll experience. Nice to have • Payroll certification. • Experience with ADP, Paycom or a similar system. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Knoxville. • We reply to every applicant.
