Payroll Specialist - multi-state payroll (Knoxville, TN)

Greenridge Timber Construction Group is looking for a Payroll Specialist. The job centres on multi-state payroll for permits, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We build things that last and we are honest about schedules. What you will do • Audit timecards and resolve discrepancies with supervisors. • Prepare quarterly filings and year-end forms. • Answer employee pay questions promptly and clearly. • Process weekly and bi-weekly payroll for hourly and salaried staff. • Handle garnishments, benefit deductions and new-hire setup. What we are looking for • Knowledge of wage-and-hour rules and multi-state basics. • Strong accuracy, especially under a deadline. • Two or more years of payroll experience. Nice to have • Experience with ADP, Paycom or a similar system. • Payroll certification. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Knoxville. • We reply to every applicant.
