Payroll Specialist - multi-state payroll (Jacksonville, FL)

Highbridge Haven Construction builds commercial and industrial projects around Jacksonville. We are hiring a Payroll Specialist to take on multi-state payroll. You would join a small organisation of about 130 people based in Jacksonville. What you will do • Answer employee pay questions promptly and clearly. • Handle garnishments, benefit deductions and new-hire setup. • Process weekly and bi-weekly payroll for hourly and salaried staff. • Audit timecards and resolve discrepancies with supervisors. • Prepare quarterly filings and year-end forms. What we are looking for • Strong accuracy, especially under a deadline. • Two or more years of payroll experience. • Knowledge of wage-and-hour rules and multi-state basics. Nice to have • Experience with ADP, Paycom or a similar system. • Payroll certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Jacksonville. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
