Payroll Specialist - multi-state payroll (Jackson, MS)

Amberfield Corner Construction Group builds commercial and industrial projects around Jackson. We are hiring a Payroll Specialist to take on multi-state payroll. Good people move up quickly. What you will do • Answer employee pay questions promptly and clearly. • Prepare quarterly filings and year-end forms. • Handle garnishments, benefit deductions and new-hire setup. • Audit timecards and resolve discrepancies with supervisors. • Process weekly and bi-weekly payroll for hourly and salaried staff. What we are looking for • Knowledge of wage-and-hour rules and multi-state basics. • Two or more years of payroll experience. • Strong accuracy, especially under a deadline. Nice to have • Payroll certification. • Experience with ADP, Paycom or a similar system. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Jackson, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
