Payroll Specialist - multi-state payroll (El Paso, TX)

Summit Linden Banking Services Group is a community-focused bank in El Paso serving households and small businesses. We are hiring a Payroll Specialist to take on multi-state payroll. We keep decisions close to customers and expect people to explain things plainly. What you will do • Prepare quarterly filings and year-end forms. • Answer employee pay questions promptly and clearly. • Audit timecards and resolve discrepancies with supervisors. • Process weekly and bi-weekly payroll for hourly and salaried staff. • Handle garnishments, benefit deductions and new-hire setup. What we are looking for • Strong accuracy, especially under a deadline. • Two or more years of payroll experience. • Knowledge of wage-and-hour rules and multi-state basics. Nice to have • Experience with ADP, Paycom or a similar system. • Payroll certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in El Paso, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
