Payroll Specialist - multi-state payroll (Denver, CO)

Northwind Fox Construction delivers building projects for owners across the Denver region. We are hiring a Payroll Specialist to take on multi-state payroll. You would join a large organisation of about 686 people based in Denver. What you will do • Audit timecards and resolve discrepancies with supervisors. • Answer employee pay questions promptly and clearly. • Handle garnishments, benefit deductions and new-hire setup. • Process weekly and bi-weekly payroll for hourly and salaried staff. • Prepare quarterly filings and year-end forms. What we are looking for • Knowledge of wage-and-hour rules and multi-state basics. • Strong accuracy, especially under a deadline. • Two or more years of payroll experience. Nice to have • Payroll certification. • Experience with ADP, Paycom or a similar system. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Denver, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
