Payroll Specialist - multi-state payroll (Charlotte, NC)

Bright Loom Financial serves customers across Charlotte with accounts, loans and payments, and we need a Payroll Specialist to lead our multi-state payroll. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Audit timecards and resolve discrepancies with supervisors. • Answer employee pay questions promptly and clearly. • Process weekly and bi-weekly payroll for hourly and salaried staff. • Prepare quarterly filings and year-end forms. • Handle garnishments, benefit deductions and new-hire setup. What we are looking for • Knowledge of wage-and-hour rules and multi-state basics. • Two or more years of payroll experience. • Strong accuracy, especially under a deadline. Nice to have • Payroll certification. • Experience with ADP, Paycom or a similar system. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Charlotte. • We reply to every applicant.
