Payroll Specialist - multi-state payroll (Charleston, SC)

Summit Kestrel Staffing places workers with employers around Charleston, and we need a Payroll Specialist to lead our multi-state payroll. You would join a large organisation of about 722 people based in Charleston. What you will do • Answer employee pay questions promptly and clearly. • Prepare quarterly filings and year-end forms. • Audit timecards and resolve discrepancies with supervisors. • Handle garnishments, benefit deductions and new-hire setup. • Process weekly and bi-weekly payroll for hourly and salaried staff. What we are looking for • Two or more years of payroll experience. • Knowledge of wage-and-hour rules and multi-state basics. • Strong accuracy, especially under a deadline. Nice to have • Experience with ADP, Paycom or a similar system. • Payroll certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Charleston. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
