Payroll Specialist - multi-state payroll (Buffalo, NY)

Westbrook Stone Banking Services is a regional lender in Buffalo with branches and a growing mobile service. We are hiring a Payroll Specialist to take on multi-state payroll. You would join a small organisation of about 71 people based in Buffalo. What you will do • Handle garnishments, benefit deductions and new-hire setup. • Audit timecards and resolve discrepancies with supervisors. • Prepare quarterly filings and year-end forms. • Process weekly and bi-weekly payroll for hourly and salaried staff. • Answer employee pay questions promptly and clearly. What we are looking for • Two or more years of payroll experience. • Knowledge of wage-and-hour rules and multi-state basics. • Strong accuracy, especially under a deadline. Nice to have • Payroll certification. • Experience with ADP, Paycom or a similar system. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Buffalo. • We reply to every applicant.
