Payroll Specialist - multi-state payroll (Buffalo, NY)

Stonegate Corner Construction Partners builds commercial and industrial projects around Buffalo, and we need a Payroll Specialist to lead our multi-state payroll. You would join a small organisation of about 83 people based in Buffalo. What you will do • Prepare quarterly filings and year-end forms. • Process weekly and bi-weekly payroll for hourly and salaried staff. • Audit timecards and resolve discrepancies with supervisors. • Answer employee pay questions promptly and clearly. • Handle garnishments, benefit deductions and new-hire setup. What we are looking for • Strong accuracy, especially under a deadline. • Knowledge of wage-and-hour rules and multi-state basics. • Two or more years of payroll experience. Nice to have • Payroll certification. • Experience with ADP, Paycom or a similar system. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Buffalo. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
