Payroll Specialist - multi-state payroll (Boston, MA)

Highbridge Iron Construction is looking for a Payroll Specialist. The job centres on multi-state payroll for change orders, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Site safety is non-negotiable. What you will do • Audit timecards and resolve discrepancies with supervisors. • Process weekly and bi-weekly payroll for hourly and salaried staff. • Answer employee pay questions promptly and clearly. • Handle garnishments, benefit deductions and new-hire setup. • Prepare quarterly filings and year-end forms. What we are looking for • Knowledge of wage-and-hour rules and multi-state basics. • Strong accuracy, especially under a deadline. • Two or more years of payroll experience. Nice to have • Payroll certification. • Experience with ADP, Paycom or a similar system. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Boston. • We reply to every applicant.
