Payroll Specialist - multi-state payroll (Boston, MA)

Greenridge Union Banking Services provides everyday banking and small-business lending around Boston. We are hiring a Payroll Specialist to take on multi-state payroll. You would join a large organisation of about 617 people based in Boston. What you will do • Process weekly and bi-weekly payroll for hourly and salaried staff. • Handle garnishments, benefit deductions and new-hire setup. • Prepare quarterly filings and year-end forms. • Audit timecards and resolve discrepancies with supervisors. • Answer employee pay questions promptly and clearly. What we are looking for • Two or more years of payroll experience. • Strong accuracy, especially under a deadline. • Knowledge of wage-and-hour rules and multi-state basics. Nice to have • Experience with ADP, Paycom or a similar system. • Payroll certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Boston. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
