Payroll Specialist - hourly payroll (Wichita, KS)

Ironwood Meadow Construction is a Wichita contractor with project managers, trades and support staff. We are hiring a Payroll Specialist to take on hourly payroll. We build things that last and we are honest about schedules. What you will do • Prepare quarterly filings and year-end forms. • Process weekly and bi-weekly payroll for hourly and salaried staff. • Handle garnishments, benefit deductions and new-hire setup. • Answer employee pay questions promptly and clearly. • Audit timecards and resolve discrepancies with supervisors. What we are looking for • Two or more years of payroll experience. • Knowledge of wage-and-hour rules and multi-state basics. • Strong accuracy, especially under a deadline. Nice to have • Payroll certification. • Experience with ADP, Paycom or a similar system. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Wichita. • We reply to every applicant.
