Payroll Specialist - hourly payroll (Tampa, FL)

Bright Oak Banking Services is looking for a Payroll Specialist. The job centres on hourly payroll for branch operations, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Most people here started in a branch and stayed. What you will do • Handle garnishments, benefit deductions and new-hire setup. • Answer employee pay questions promptly and clearly. • Prepare quarterly filings and year-end forms. • Process weekly and bi-weekly payroll for hourly and salaried staff. • Audit timecards and resolve discrepancies with supervisors. What we are looking for • Two or more years of payroll experience. • Strong accuracy, especially under a deadline. • Knowledge of wage-and-hour rules and multi-state basics. Nice to have • Experience with ADP, Paycom or a similar system. • Payroll certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Tampa, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
