Payroll Specialist - hourly payroll (San Diego, CA)

We are growing our team at Highbridge Pine Financial and adding a Payroll Specialist whose main responsibility will be hourly payroll. Career paths are clear. What you will do • Answer employee pay questions promptly and clearly. • Process weekly and bi-weekly payroll for hourly and salaried staff. • Prepare quarterly filings and year-end forms. • Audit timecards and resolve discrepancies with supervisors. • Handle garnishments, benefit deductions and new-hire setup. What we are looking for • Two or more years of payroll experience. • Strong accuracy, especially under a deadline. • Knowledge of wage-and-hour rules and multi-state basics. Nice to have • Experience with ADP, Paycom or a similar system. • Payroll certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in San Diego, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
