Payroll Specialist - hourly payroll (Salt Lake City, UT)

Ironwood River Financial provides savings, lending and payment services from Salt Lake City, and we need a Payroll Specialist to lead our hourly payroll. You would join a small organisation of about 195 people based in Salt Lake City. What you will do • Prepare quarterly filings and year-end forms. • Process weekly and bi-weekly payroll for hourly and salaried staff. • Answer employee pay questions promptly and clearly. • Handle garnishments, benefit deductions and new-hire setup. • Audit timecards and resolve discrepancies with supervisors. What we are looking for • Strong accuracy, especially under a deadline. • Knowledge of wage-and-hour rules and multi-state basics. • Two or more years of payroll experience. Nice to have • Payroll certification. • Experience with ADP, Paycom or a similar system. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Salt Lake City. • We reply to every applicant.
