Payroll Specialist - hourly payroll (Salt Lake City, UT)

Highbridge Cobalt Construction is looking for a Payroll Specialist. The job centres on hourly payroll for subcontractor invoices, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 937 people based in Salt Lake City. What you will do • Process weekly and bi-weekly payroll for hourly and salaried staff. • Prepare quarterly filings and year-end forms. • Answer employee pay questions promptly and clearly. • Audit timecards and resolve discrepancies with supervisors. • Handle garnishments, benefit deductions and new-hire setup. What we are looking for • Knowledge of wage-and-hour rules and multi-state basics. • Strong accuracy, especially under a deadline. • Two or more years of payroll experience. Nice to have • Experience with ADP, Paycom or a similar system. • Payroll certification. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Salt Lake City. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
