Payroll Specialist - hourly payroll (Sacramento, CA)

Bluepeak Ashton Banking Services is a regional lender in Sacramento with branches and a growing mobile service, and we need a Payroll Specialist to lead our hourly payroll. We keep decisions close to customers and expect people to explain things plainly. What you will do • Process weekly and bi-weekly payroll for hourly and salaried staff. • Answer employee pay questions promptly and clearly. • Handle garnishments, benefit deductions and new-hire setup. • Prepare quarterly filings and year-end forms. • Audit timecards and resolve discrepancies with supervisors. What we are looking for • Strong accuracy, especially under a deadline. • Knowledge of wage-and-hour rules and multi-state basics. • Two or more years of payroll experience. Nice to have • Payroll certification. • Experience with ADP, Paycom or a similar system. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Sacramento. • We reply to every applicant.
