Payroll Specialist - hourly payroll (Reno, NV)

We are growing our team at Harborlight Kestrel Staffing and adding a Payroll Specialist whose main responsibility will be hourly payroll. You would join a small organisation of about 175 people based in Reno. What you will do • Handle garnishments, benefit deductions and new-hire setup. • Prepare quarterly filings and year-end forms. • Audit timecards and resolve discrepancies with supervisors. • Answer employee pay questions promptly and clearly. • Process weekly and bi-weekly payroll for hourly and salaried staff. What we are looking for • Strong accuracy, especially under a deadline. • Two or more years of payroll experience. • Knowledge of wage-and-hour rules and multi-state basics. Nice to have • Payroll certification. • Experience with ADP, Paycom or a similar system. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Reno. • We reply to every applicant.
