Payroll Specialist - hourly payroll (remote)

Silverline Ridge Staffing places workers with employers around Sacramento. We are hiring a Payroll Specialist to take on hourly payroll. You would join a large organisation of about 994 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Prepare quarterly filings and year-end forms. • Handle garnishments, benefit deductions and new-hire setup. • Answer employee pay questions promptly and clearly. • Process weekly and bi-weekly payroll for hourly and salaried staff. • Audit timecards and resolve discrepancies with supervisors. What we are looking for • Knowledge of wage-and-hour rules and multi-state basics. • Two or more years of payroll experience. • Strong accuracy, especially under a deadline. Nice to have • Payroll certification. • Experience with ADP, Paycom or a similar system. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Sacramento. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
