Payroll Specialist - hourly payroll (remote)

Stonegate River Financial Group is a financial-services company in Milwaukee. We are hiring a Payroll Specialist to take on hourly payroll. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Answer employee pay questions promptly and clearly. • Prepare quarterly filings and year-end forms. • Handle garnishments, benefit deductions and new-hire setup. • Process weekly and bi-weekly payroll for hourly and salaried staff. • Audit timecards and resolve discrepancies with supervisors. What we are looking for • Strong accuracy, especially under a deadline. • Two or more years of payroll experience. • Knowledge of wage-and-hour rules and multi-state basics. Nice to have • Payroll certification. • Experience with ADP, Paycom or a similar system. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, with flexible days. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Milwaukee. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
