Payroll Specialist - hourly payroll (remote)

Summit Pine Construction is looking for a Payroll Specialist. The job centres on hourly payroll for materials orders, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Site safety is non-negotiable. What you will do • Prepare quarterly filings and year-end forms. • Handle garnishments, benefit deductions and new-hire setup. • Process weekly and bi-weekly payroll for hourly and salaried staff. • Answer employee pay questions promptly and clearly. • Audit timecards and resolve discrepancies with supervisors. What we are looking for • Two or more years of payroll experience. • Strong accuracy, especially under a deadline. • Knowledge of wage-and-hour rules and multi-state basics. Nice to have • Experience with ADP, Paycom or a similar system. • Payroll certification. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Sacramento. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
