Payroll Specialist - hourly payroll (remote)

Ironwood North Staffing connects candidates and employers across the Cincinnati region. We are hiring a Payroll Specialist to take on hourly payroll. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Audit timecards and resolve discrepancies with supervisors. • Prepare quarterly filings and year-end forms. • Answer employee pay questions promptly and clearly. • Process weekly and bi-weekly payroll for hourly and salaried staff. • Handle garnishments, benefit deductions and new-hire setup. What we are looking for • Strong accuracy, especially under a deadline. • Two or more years of payroll experience. • Knowledge of wage-and-hour rules and multi-state basics. Nice to have • Payroll certification. • Experience with ADP, Paycom or a similar system. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, afternoons. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Cincinnati. • We reply to every applicant.
