Payroll Specialist - hourly payroll (remote)

We are growing our team at Nova Beacon Staffing and adding a Payroll Specialist whose main responsibility will be hourly payroll. We are in the people business and act like it. What you will do • Answer employee pay questions promptly and clearly. • Handle garnishments, benefit deductions and new-hire setup. • Process weekly and bi-weekly payroll for hourly and salaried staff. • Audit timecards and resolve discrepancies with supervisors. • Prepare quarterly filings and year-end forms. What we are looking for • Knowledge of wage-and-hour rules and multi-state basics. • Two or more years of payroll experience. • Strong accuracy, especially under a deadline. Nice to have • Payroll certification. • Experience with ADP, Paycom or a similar system. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Tampa. • We reply to every applicant.
