Payroll Specialist - hourly payroll (remote)

Redstone Sable Staffing places workers with employers around St. Louis, and we need a Payroll Specialist to lead our hourly payroll. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Answer employee pay questions promptly and clearly. • Audit timecards and resolve discrepancies with supervisors. • Prepare quarterly filings and year-end forms. • Process weekly and bi-weekly payroll for hourly and salaried staff. • Handle garnishments, benefit deductions and new-hire setup. What we are looking for • Two or more years of payroll experience. • Knowledge of wage-and-hour rules and multi-state basics. • Strong accuracy, especially under a deadline. Nice to have • Payroll certification. • Experience with ADP, Paycom or a similar system. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, afternoons. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in St. Louis. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
