Payroll Specialist - hourly payroll (remote)

We are growing our team at Northwind Cross Banking Services and adding a Payroll Specialist whose main responsibility will be hourly payroll. You would join a small organisation of about 39 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Prepare quarterly filings and year-end forms. • Handle garnishments, benefit deductions and new-hire setup. • Process weekly and bi-weekly payroll for hourly and salaried staff. • Answer employee pay questions promptly and clearly. • Audit timecards and resolve discrepancies with supervisors. What we are looking for • Two or more years of payroll experience. • Knowledge of wage-and-hour rules and multi-state basics. • Strong accuracy, especially under a deadline. Nice to have • Payroll certification. • Experience with ADP, Paycom or a similar system. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Tampa. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
