Payroll Specialist - hourly payroll (remote)

Nova Beacon Financial Group is a financial-services company in Louisville. We are hiring a Payroll Specialist to take on hourly payroll. You would join a small organisation of about 92 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Answer employee pay questions promptly and clearly. • Handle garnishments, benefit deductions and new-hire setup. • Process weekly and bi-weekly payroll for hourly and salaried staff. • Audit timecards and resolve discrepancies with supervisors. • Prepare quarterly filings and year-end forms. What we are looking for • Knowledge of wage-and-hour rules and multi-state basics. • Two or more years of payroll experience. • Strong accuracy, especially under a deadline. Nice to have • Payroll certification. • Experience with ADP, Paycom or a similar system. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Louisville. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
