Payroll Specialist - hourly payroll (remote)

Redstone Corner Construction is a Albuquerque contractor with project managers, trades and support staff. We are hiring a Payroll Specialist to take on hourly payroll. You would join a small organisation of about 15 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Audit timecards and resolve discrepancies with supervisors. • Handle garnishments, benefit deductions and new-hire setup. • Answer employee pay questions promptly and clearly. • Process weekly and bi-weekly payroll for hourly and salaried staff. • Prepare quarterly filings and year-end forms. What we are looking for • Two or more years of payroll experience. • Strong accuracy, especially under a deadline. • Knowledge of wage-and-hour rules and multi-state basics. Nice to have • Payroll certification. • Experience with ADP, Paycom or a similar system. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, spread across three days. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Albuquerque. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
