Payroll Specialist - hourly payroll (remote)

Amberfield Fern Banking Services Group is a community-focused bank in Atlanta serving households and small businesses. We are hiring a Payroll Specialist to take on hourly payroll. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Handle garnishments, benefit deductions and new-hire setup. • Audit timecards and resolve discrepancies with supervisors. • Answer employee pay questions promptly and clearly. • Prepare quarterly filings and year-end forms. • Process weekly and bi-weekly payroll for hourly and salaried staff. What we are looking for • Two or more years of payroll experience. • Strong accuracy, especially under a deadline. • Knowledge of wage-and-hour rules and multi-state basics. Nice to have • Payroll certification. • Experience with ADP, Paycom or a similar system. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Atlanta. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
