Payroll Specialist - hourly payroll (remote)

Summit River Staffing connects candidates and employers across the Miami region, and we need a Payroll Specialist to lead our hourly payroll. We are in the people business and act like it. What you will do • Audit timecards and resolve discrepancies with supervisors. • Answer employee pay questions promptly and clearly. • Process weekly and bi-weekly payroll for hourly and salaried staff. • Handle garnishments, benefit deductions and new-hire setup. • Prepare quarterly filings and year-end forms. What we are looking for • Two or more years of payroll experience. • Knowledge of wage-and-hour rules and multi-state basics. • Strong accuracy, especially under a deadline. Nice to have • Experience with ADP, Paycom or a similar system. • Payroll certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, with flexible days. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Miami. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
