Payroll Specialist - hourly payroll (remote)

Harborlight Rowan Banking Services is a regional lender in Denver with branches and a growing mobile service, and we need a Payroll Specialist to lead our hourly payroll. You would join a small organisation of about 107 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Handle garnishments, benefit deductions and new-hire setup. • Process weekly and bi-weekly payroll for hourly and salaried staff. • Answer employee pay questions promptly and clearly. • Prepare quarterly filings and year-end forms. • Audit timecards and resolve discrepancies with supervisors. What we are looking for • Two or more years of payroll experience. • Knowledge of wage-and-hour rules and multi-state basics. • Strong accuracy, especially under a deadline. Nice to have • Experience with ADP, Paycom or a similar system. • Payroll certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Denver. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
