Payroll Specialist - hourly payroll (remote)

Nova Fox Staffing is looking for a Payroll Specialist. The job centres on hourly payroll for temp assignments, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Process weekly and bi-weekly payroll for hourly and salaried staff. • Answer employee pay questions promptly and clearly. • Prepare quarterly filings and year-end forms. • Handle garnishments, benefit deductions and new-hire setup. • Audit timecards and resolve discrepancies with supervisors. What we are looking for • Strong accuracy, especially under a deadline. • Two or more years of payroll experience. • Knowledge of wage-and-hour rules and multi-state basics. Nice to have • Experience with ADP, Paycom or a similar system. • Payroll certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Houston. • We reply to every applicant.
