Payroll Specialist - hourly payroll (Raleigh, NC)

Nova Stone Banking Services is a community-focused bank in Raleigh serving households and small businesses, and we need a Payroll Specialist to lead our hourly payroll. We keep decisions close to customers and expect people to explain things plainly. What you will do • Audit timecards and resolve discrepancies with supervisors. • Answer employee pay questions promptly and clearly. • Process weekly and bi-weekly payroll for hourly and salaried staff. • Prepare quarterly filings and year-end forms. • Handle garnishments, benefit deductions and new-hire setup. What we are looking for • Knowledge of wage-and-hour rules and multi-state basics. • Two or more years of payroll experience. • Strong accuracy, especially under a deadline. Nice to have • Experience with ADP, Paycom or a similar system. • Payroll certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Raleigh. • We reply to every applicant.
