Payroll Specialist - hourly payroll (Miami, FL)

Greenridge Amber Construction Group is a Miami contractor with project managers, trades and support staff, and we need a Payroll Specialist to lead our hourly payroll. Good people move up quickly. What you will do • Handle garnishments, benefit deductions and new-hire setup. • Audit timecards and resolve discrepancies with supervisors. • Answer employee pay questions promptly and clearly. • Prepare quarterly filings and year-end forms. • Process weekly and bi-weekly payroll for hourly and salaried staff. What we are looking for • Strong accuracy, especially under a deadline. • Knowledge of wage-and-hour rules and multi-state basics. • Two or more years of payroll experience. Nice to have • Payroll certification. • Experience with ADP, Paycom or a similar system. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Miami. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
