Payroll Specialist - hourly payroll (Memphis, TN)

Nova Quill Banking Services provides everyday banking and small-business lending around Memphis, and we need a Payroll Specialist to lead our hourly payroll. We keep decisions close to customers and expect people to explain things plainly. What you will do • Process weekly and bi-weekly payroll for hourly and salaried staff. • Handle garnishments, benefit deductions and new-hire setup. • Answer employee pay questions promptly and clearly. • Audit timecards and resolve discrepancies with supervisors. • Prepare quarterly filings and year-end forms. What we are looking for • Strong accuracy, especially under a deadline. • Two or more years of payroll experience. • Knowledge of wage-and-hour rules and multi-state basics. Nice to have • Experience with ADP, Paycom or a similar system. • Payroll certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Memphis. • We reply to every applicant.
