Payroll Specialist - hourly payroll (Indianapolis, IN)

Silverline Thistle Construction is looking for a Payroll Specialist. The job centres on hourly payroll for subcontractor invoices, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 56 people based in Indianapolis. What you will do • Answer employee pay questions promptly and clearly. • Audit timecards and resolve discrepancies with supervisors. • Handle garnishments, benefit deductions and new-hire setup. • Process weekly and bi-weekly payroll for hourly and salaried staff. • Prepare quarterly filings and year-end forms. What we are looking for • Two or more years of payroll experience. • Strong accuracy, especially under a deadline. • Knowledge of wage-and-hour rules and multi-state basics. Nice to have • Experience with ADP, Paycom or a similar system. • Payroll certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Indianapolis. • We reply to every applicant.
