Payroll Specialist - hourly payroll (Houston, TX)

Clearpath Granite Financial serves customers across Houston with accounts, loans and payments. We are hiring a Payroll Specialist to take on hourly payroll. You would join a small organisation of about 51 people based in Houston. What you will do • Audit timecards and resolve discrepancies with supervisors. • Process weekly and bi-weekly payroll for hourly and salaried staff. • Prepare quarterly filings and year-end forms. • Handle garnishments, benefit deductions and new-hire setup. • Answer employee pay questions promptly and clearly. What we are looking for • Knowledge of wage-and-hour rules and multi-state basics. • Strong accuracy, especially under a deadline. • Two or more years of payroll experience. Nice to have • Experience with ADP, Paycom or a similar system. • Payroll certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Houston. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
