Payroll Specialist - hourly payroll (Cincinnati, OH)

Northwind River Construction builds commercial and industrial projects around Cincinnati, and we need a Payroll Specialist to lead our hourly payroll. You would join a small organisation of about 167 people based in Cincinnati. What you will do • Process weekly and bi-weekly payroll for hourly and salaried staff. • Answer employee pay questions promptly and clearly. • Handle garnishments, benefit deductions and new-hire setup. • Prepare quarterly filings and year-end forms. • Audit timecards and resolve discrepancies with supervisors. What we are looking for • Knowledge of wage-and-hour rules and multi-state basics. • Two or more years of payroll experience. • Strong accuracy, especially under a deadline. Nice to have • Payroll certification. • Experience with ADP, Paycom or a similar system. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Cincinnati, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
